Easiest way to do some small tweaking to these balances is to re gem.Ĭheck out the builds of the top 10 in your character class and mimic their builds as much as you can. If you are slaughtered before you can get a damage cycle going or have your damage fully ramped up, you may want to look at going the other way. If you survive just fine but can't beat a GR timer, it's time to try and eek out more damage possibly at the expense of toughness or recovery. On difficulties that are more difficult often avoiding some forms of damage is important to push higher. Often there is a cycle or ability you want to nearly always have on cooldown as it triggers something for survivability. Once you understand a build, you can try small tweaks to customize it to your preferences and play style (to a degree).ĭepending on the class/difficulty you might be able to do content via killing monsters before they get a chance to hurt you. ![]() Pick one you like and shoot for it, pay attention to what makes a given build work, both in damage and survivability. Looking at them closely you'll see that they have a lot of synergy and effect stacking. Look at some of the posted seasonal builds for your class. The key is moving quickly from pack to pack, making sure stacks of orb don't fall off/get refreshed and not standing in death circles/avoiding exploding stuff. Playstyle: By the time you've finished stacking, you'll have nearly no cooldown on teleport (I still use wormhole b/c I like it best), so I skin up, tp into a pack, nova and explosive blast to build orb stacks (defense), then I just hop from pack to pack with tp, spam diamond skin and explosive blast and disintegrate everything. After a few tweaks and rolling a weapon socket for the anguish shard I'm now at 1m sheet damage (mid-500's paragon) When I'd just finished getting the pieces together I had ~500k sheet damage. ![]() Pretty much everything works with everything else in this build to make it uber. ![]() Step 2: Craft your Aughild's and Crimson's (rift/grift to get your bs recipes) Step 2: Finish your Chapter 1-4 journey for your set pieces If not, I'm not sure what build I'd use, probably something else off that same site. Not sure if you're playing seasonal or not. I needed to have most of the build finished to get to T16. ![]()
